Park was well maintained and offered a few different things to do. There was the private beach, kayaking, historical buildings, and knowledgeable staff on site.Full review by Elizabeth H

There is great camping at St Andrews state park. There was not camping at camp Helen

JclintonH is correct. At Camp Helen State park you just walk around the old cottages. Sincerely, not much to see. If time is limited I would go to Eden State park instead. At Eden there is an historic house to tour and nice grounds to walk around. You can bring a picnic lunch, and dogs on leashes are welcomed. You can sit on picnic tables or bring your own blanket and sit by the water.

I don't know about the camping question, but as most state parks allow it, I would certainly would call them. The kayak qustion would be a yes, yes!

Yes you can. The trees must be larger than 6” in diameter and the strap used must be 1” or wider.
