It is about a mile over and back. However you can go out as far or as short as you want. There is plenty of room to stop and take in the sight It is so wide that sometimes they host a car show on top of it and folks check out the cars parked there. This is rare but should give you an idea about the space. So walk out 50 feet or go the distance it is level and paved the entire distance.
