Depends how long you stay at each area. The sanctuary has a little train that goes around giving access to the main areas, you can get on and off as many times as you like. I like to do a complete circuit on the train to get my bearings, then wander around. Great place to visit, regardless of the weather.
Locals who live in Teemangum St, as grandparents we have National Trust passes valid until Oct. our grandchild has a pass but as large playground not available not as great a visit When will playground be finished and open ? Not sure whether to extend pass, we used to visit twice a week, but no playground now

I have bought general admission tickets online. The confirmation said to confirm 48 hours in advance to tour operator. I am not sure what this means. I thought general admissions mean that we can enter and walk around the park for the day. Does this mean tat we will be with a tour guide the whole day?

There is a journey planner for public transport (search translink journey planner) that might help your planning and options. Otherwise, maybe consider a shuttle / tour bus service.
