Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the associate chief of clinical affairs for the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Slivka is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and a medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Slivka completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
