My wife and I had a great time! Our captains were super knowledgeable and polite, and gave us a history of Whittier, as well as the landscape we toured. It was a fun stop on the coast, and great to s… Full review by Adam M

We went to Alaska for our honeymoon and it was absolutely GORGEOUS! Our trip started in Anchorage where we drove down to Whittier and took part in the Blackstone Glacier Cruise. Firstly, the drive wa… Full review by Jordan M

Lazy Otter made our kayaking trip a breeze even when we had to change our plans because of bad weather they were able to get us an extra ride to our destination so we avoided the worst of the wind. S… Full review by L2672IF
We're interested in doing a days kayak trip as a couple, the website says tandem kayaks used for tours. The only time we've ever got in a kayak together could quite easily have led to divorce to the point where my husband would prefer to be on his own, whilst I not having much confidence on the water would really appreciate having someone with me. Can anyone who has done the Kayak day trips let me know how they got on and if they were able to buddy up with a member of the team? Also what time do the day trips usually depart? Working out the tunnel times in advance I have emailed the company also but have yet to have a reply.

So far I've emailed the company via their website and on a separate email to lazyottr @ mta online. net I've also sent a message via their Facebook page and still not had any response. Apart from the response above where it say to call them. I am not in a position where I can phone as I am in a different continent. Can anyone give me another option on how I can contact lazyotters directly or simply an email address that works as whilst I really would like to use them and everyone is recommending that we do the fact that I keep having no response is starting to make me worry.
Are there any aurora's in the area in March? Is the weather generally clear in March? I am trying to get glaciers, whales & northern lights in on the same trip -- yes, I confess, I am greedy, wanting it all!

Hi there! Yes it was clear most nights, and although the northern lights can be seen this time of year it's hit and miss. You can track solid flares on a website that I can't post here!Just Google Aurora Forecast. Your best option as far as I have read, and what we did, is to stay in Fairbanks then fly to Anchorage then drive from that point to go see Prince William Sound. Fairbanks to Anchorage has several inexpensive flights a day. In Fairbanks we stayed at an Amazing Airbnb called Artic Roots Farm. And though we were close town the property has close to 100 acres, no light pollution and has several reviews with folks watching the lights from the porch. In Fairbanks you can also dog sled (Just Short of Heaven), and visit Walk with Reindeer that I 100% urge you to do! Good luck! We did not see any lights which is the original reason why we went but it still was an absolutely amazing trip! Now we have a reason to go back! Hope that helps! Sarah
I am worried about getting sea sick~ the two "other" large ship companies promise not to get seasick.....do you feel Lazy Otter has the same promise....or is it the large boat/catamaran helps (plus the calm waters). I am referring to adventures on Prince William Sound :)

I'm probably not the person to ask. I usually take half a Bonine whenever I get on a boat. I feel better if I do...
Hi! My group of 3 is wondering if you might have a charter that could take us out this coming Saturday, March 26th. What would the cost be? Do you offer pick up and drop off to Alyeska Hotel? Thank you!!
