The fort is run down and covered in graffiti. The views are nice but we didn’t even get out of the car at the last parking lot - there was a group of questionable nature gathered there. Full review by Djbar425

Hours - if you enjoy beach-combing and just watching the ships go by. There's plenty of room to roam and wander, but the real joy of Fort Werherill is the connection you'll feel to the ocean. Take the access road all the way until it ends at the Fish and Wildlife station - some people miss that and think it's just the park that you first see when you enter.
