Is it important to buy tickets in advance or can we just show up if we go on a weekday the week of February 17-21?
A:
If you really want to go on the tour you will want to buy in advance. The group sizes are pretty small and they are limited on the number of docents they have.

$15 adults/$12 Seniors & students, kids free.

how do i get there using public transportation
A:
The Metro line stops around 1 mile from the House, and there is a bus which goes from Metro to very near the House. The directions are posted on the Gamble House website.
