Ixia beach is very stoney and the sea is very rough, no good for children at all, it goes deep quick, it was lovely and warm no good for snorkeling as couldn't see Full review by Joanne B
Hello. Thinking of going to Rhodes and Ixia around October 8th. Has anyone been there at that time considering the wind? Don't want to freeze on the beach. Then I'm a little thoughtful about the water depth. Do you reach the bottom 3 meters out or does it get really deep? I'm not very tall.

I was last on Ixia several years ago in mid May. It was really warm but the breeze took the burning feeling. I had a day in Falakri. I found it most uncomfortable and spent most of the in shade. There were plenty of Tavernas in Ixia mostly family owned. A great place for a holiday with regular buses to Rhodes Town.
