Hi, I have not been to the ice slating rink at Austin heights. I do not know the type of the ice rink. They have regular resurfacing of the ice as planned but that day, it took 1 h instead of 30 min. The surface “melts” a lot too. My kids preferred the ice skate rinks in Singapore to a large extent. Hope this helps
