It’s very nice and historical castle. The tour guide was amazing she tells us about the history of every room we entered she was not tired of talking. Full review by Janice V

It looks like there is a train that goes from Prague to Krivoklat and takes about 2 hours with 1 stop. But blogs online make it seem like you have to take a train to a bus and then walk. Is the train stop new, or is the train schedule deceiving me?

To go to Krivoklat, buy the train ticket at Hlavni Nadrazi (Praha hl.n.) in Prague for Krivoklat. You have to switch trains at Beroun. The train from Prague to Beroun takes 40 min. Then in Beroun switch to a local train to go to Krivoklat. The whole journey is about 1 1/2 hours total. There are only 2 morning departures from Beroun to Krivoklat. So you must catch the train from Prague to Beroun at either 9:12 or 11:42 to make the connection at Beroun. After you get off the train at Krivoklat, it is a 10-min. uphill walk to the castle from the train station. For the return journey, the train from Krivoklat to Beroun departs almost hourly in the afternoon at 14:06, 15:20, 16:11, 17:10, 18:58, and 20:54. I visited Krivoklat in May 2017 and you can see my review of Krivoklat in Tripadvisor.
