Beautiful views! Take the long (20 minute) walk around the path. Read a little about how these formations formed. It is pretty amazing and some of it you will not see anywhere else.Full review by GoPlaces648973

I'm not good at edges (cliffs etc) but OK with heights otherwise. Will this be an issue at Lake Myvatn?

You will not have any problems here with heights.

You can get tickets there although it might be safer to book in advance especially if with a larger group. The place is hugely popular also with locals (after wofk get together).
