I would suggest the website is correct. They are all volunteers and close during winter months for maintenance and all the work that needs doing but can't be done whilst visitors are present. Their website usually keeps you up to date with all that's happening. Including when they plan to reopen.
We are coming to Margate on Saturday. Can we get a bus from there and how much for two OAP's .Thank-you in advance.

Suggest you look on the Stagecoach website for buses. Might be a bit of a journey ! There is a OAP rate but I'm afraid I don't remember how much, possibly check their website.
