Just popped in for a quick look. Fantastic centre with lots to see. The art gallery was an eye opener. Huge range of souvenirs in the shop. Helpful staff. Full review by MarkE20

Planning a trip to the Winton Longreach area in early October, roughly about how long would you need to visit the Waltzing Matilda Centre? We are also wanting to visit the Age of Dinosaurs Museum, Qantas Museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame, and only have about 2-3 days in the area. Travelling with my husband and 9 year old son.

An hour or maybe two if you want to read everything. You'll need more time at dinosaurs
Q:
When was it built
A:
I don't think it was very old, the buildings looked as if they were only a few years old. But there was a really bad fire in June and it is now closed. They hope to rebuild.
