Sweet Berry Farm is a post-and-beam farm market and café situated on 100 acres of conserved farmland. We are located only a short distance from downtown Newport and the island’s beaches. From our market we sell our own freshly grown seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, as well as a variety of gourmet and specialty foods. The pick-your-own season begins in June when the first strawberries ripen and extends through December with our festive Christmas trees and wreaths. We take pride in our farm and use only sustainable growing practices.
a ticket for anyone is not needed at all. public transportation would be a question best asked to the location itself or to the bus company or even the Newport visitor center. I have a car so I can not give a good answer to this question. Yes, there is a great cafe with a very good extensive menu onsite.

this is not near public transportation. We biked over from our hotel which was not far. I suggest you need a car to get there.

This is a great place for the entire family to visit. from picking fruit to eating a sandwich to having pie and home made ice cream this is a nice stop for a short visit. how long. maybe an hour or so. good parking area,nice shop, nice people who run this place. Anyone who says anything bad about this place is making it up and has not been here. bottom line, go and have a nice time,eat some food or dessert. the frozen foods may be a bit on t he high side but they are not something you must get to just have a good time. Yup,go here
