Hi, we are a party of 2 looking to go in September on a Sunday or Monday night. How expensive are the drinks for a pint of lager and diet coke? Also, turn up 30 mins before? That seems to be ok. Also, is a table preferable to the bar? If so, reasons why please. Thanks.

First the bar is at the main entrance so your view of the musicians is restricted especially if it’s a band you want to see. Drinks are NYC prices, have a few somewhere else …

I agree with all the comments already made. You don't say how many are in your party, so the only thing I would add is that the more people in the group, the earlier you should get there, otherwise you run the risk of having members of your group sitting at separate tables!
