What is the Kennesaw Mountain Road like? Is it narrow, or very winding, or does it have steep drop-offs with no guardrails? We have a large Ford 250 truck and would like to know if we will be able to drive up it or not. Also, what is the shuttle service like? Is it easy to access? How long does it take to get up the mountain and does it stop along the way to allow passengers on and off? Thank you.

The road is a safe road to drive on. It is not a very tall mountain. The website says the road is open M-F for personal vehicles. There are no rails. Again, it is not dangerous. As long as you travel at an appropriate speed. I think it might take 5 minutes to drive up. Maybe, 20-30 minutes hike. There is a trail that is more scenic. I think the shuttle only stops at the top. You can go to the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park website. It provides detail information and a phone number.
