Waste of time. Visited at 11am on a Tuesday in February and told no tickets available. If you want tickets you need to book online at least a day before. Idiotic.Full review by jburton0069

Xiaomeng: You may have used a site not approved by the Castle's website. If the day you visit is rainy and you have booked admission, you will not want to visit an attraction that is mostly outdoors. I suggest that you ask someone at the hotel at which you stay to assist buying a ticket in advance. If the day has rain, plan to visit the fabulous National Museum. There is no charge, and you can enjoy a full day indoors learning about Scottish history.
