Is the Ein Gedi Botanical Garden the same place as the Ei Gedi Nature Reserve ? If not, are they near to each other, as in, can I walk from one to the other ?
A:
Not the same. They are about 4 miles separated. You could walk and there are buses but I have no idea the bus schedule.
I would like to know if we can stay in a hotel or volunteer at kibbutz and spend 3 days in the area on november 22-25. Please let me and my girlfriend know. I am a botanist and work in the horticulture field. This looks quite beautiful. -David

There is a big hotel complex on the grounds. I am a botanist also and the collection is quite diverse. I am sure someone at the kibbutz could give you a serious tour.
