As for tickets I think it may get busier at night, but we went at 10am on Saturday morning and there were only a few cars with people in. We bought our tickets online which turned out to be more expensive as they had cheaper tickets there

They don't tell you that they are all separate entities and may not give you a full refund even if they don't open due to weather.
