Hi, A guide is a good idea as so many places within Diocletians that you could easily bypass. A great place full of history. You are bound to enjoy Split. Ciao

Hi Wanderer4, The main port is literally halfway between Diocletian Palace ( therefore Turn left exiting the port) & Firule Beach ( turn right ). The overall distance between Diocletians & Firule Beach is 2 K about 25 minutes walk. From Diocletians for instance take Obala Lazareta onto Obala Kneza Domagoja onto Katalinicev Prilaz & you are at the point where Bacvice park & Beach is ... you just follow the coastline to Firule Beach. Easy rule ... heading out of Diocletians ... keep the water on your right. Enjoy.
