Sam Patch operates from May - October. The Erie Canal is open for navigation only during those months.

Thanks for your comment - We would certainly like to make the Sam Patch accessible - and we have investigated the possibility. Unfortunately, the narrowness of the replica vessel makes a ramp too steep to be safe. We are working on adding a second vessel to our fleet, which will be accessible.
