Is the village town of Siesta Key Florida handicap accessible? I've seen photos that look like you have to go up a step to enter restaurants and shops. My mother uses electric scooter due to heart condition and can not go up unless flat or ramp. What about the beach, did they ever improve access for wheelchairs and scooters? If there is any ordinance banning thongs, it is not enforced at Siesta Key near Sarasota Florida. I see many women and a growing number of men in speedos and even some in thongs. Women are not allowed to go topless here, but they can wear any kind of bottom. I've seen extreme thongs with only strings in back and a tiny triangle in front. I'm not sure about St. Augustine, but for many years Daytona Beach to the south has been the same as Sarasota is now--almost anything goes at the beach short of topless. I suspect St. Agustine is like Daytona now. If you want a nude beach south of Daytona, Playa Linda Beach near Titusville is effectively a nude beach, but closed during rocket launches.
