The Hospice of Baton Rouge is the first and only non-profit hospice located in the Greater Baton Rouge area providing South Louisiana end-of-life care since 1984. The organization was formed out of the need and desire from patients that wanted to pass on in the comfort of their own homes surrounded by their loved ones. The Hospice of Baton Rouge provides hospice patient care, palliative care, bereavement and grief counseling services. Additional programs include care for hospice patient pets through the Pet Peace of Mind program, We Honor Veterans program to salute those who served, Camp Conquer for children who have loss a loved one, and many other programs to support those grieving in our community.
