The house itself is quite interesting but don't linger - the star of the show is the garden. No pictures can truly capture the effect of level upon level of sculptures, planting and amazing fountains…Full review by Steve M
Do you need to buy tickets online in advance or can you just walk up and buy admission tickets on the day?

I believe we purchased tickets online, but there was a ticket office. However, since it's a rather long journey you might want to be sure they were open with an online purchase.
