I got the information at the hotel and booked through them at the last minute. I would suggest you go to the Trolley website and get discounted coupons and rates ahead of time.

Their website, or if you have a brochure, tells you where their hub is and each pick up point on their routes. It’s an excellent way to get around DC!
I was in DC years ago (2012) and had a great time using Old Town Trolley. I'm planning another visit this fall. I looked online at the routes/map -- is it my imagination, or is the "Green Route" a lot different than it used to be? When we used it years ago, I thought it stopped at key points of interest, like the Cathedral (like the orange line does). NOW it just seems to be a line to pick up and drop off at the hotels. What changed?

Yes, I noticed a big change. It no longer goes to the cathedral, embassy row nor the zoo.
