Windham High School has 815 students in grades 9-12. Since opening in 2009, WHS has become known for the high quality of its educational opportunities, as well as the tremendous success of its athletic teams (eleven championships in six different sports over the last nine seasons), the music program (including performances at Chicago’s Orchestra Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York), as well as the robotics team (ninth in the world at last April’s US FIRST finals). As the only 1:1 laptop initiative public school in New Hampshire, students in all grades at WHS are provided with Apple MacBooks, which are integrated into curricula and lessons in all disciplines. High quality teachers include “Teacher of the Year” honorees in four disciplines and the 2012 NH Teacher of the Year–Bethany Bernasconi. Music Teacher Jared Cassedy is the 2015 recipient of the Grammy Foundations Music Education Award.
