Murderbot debuts May 16 on Apple TV+. In addition to Skarsgård, the series also stars Noma Dumezweni, David Dastmalchian, Sabrina Wu, Akshay Khanna, Tattiawna Jones, and Tamara Podemski.

Apple TV+ has shared the first images of Alexander Skarsgård in its upcoming sci-fi series, "Murderbot." Based on Martha Wells' Hugo and Nebula Award-winning book series "The Murderbot Diaries," the show follows a self-hacking security construct (Skarsgård) that finds itself simultaneously put off by human emotion and yet drawn to its clients in spite of that.

Apple TV+ has confirmed the release date for the new series, which is based on The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, and has also unveiled a first look at Skarsgård in the role. Murderbot will hit Apple TV+ on 16th May 2025 – so not too long to go!
