Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta has become Delhi's fourth woman CM as well as the fourth BJP leader to hold the post. So far, none of the previous CMs from the BJP have completed a full term in office.

Highlighting how the Bharatiya Janata Party has formed the government in the national capital after more than 20 years, the Chief Ministers of various states ruled by the party lauded the national capital getting their fourth woman CM on Thursday.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government is happening now at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Rekha Gupta, a first-time MLA, is taking the oath and will become the 4th woman CM of the national capital.
