The Dallas Cowboys could be looking for a new star player to help them reach the playoffs again. They may need to trade up in the NFL Draft to ensure they can land one of the most explosive players in the draft class.

The Dallas Cowboys went into the 2024 NFL Draft in need of two starters on the offensive line. They were able to fill those vacancies by turning the 24th overall selection into Pick No. 29 and No. 73.

For two years in a row, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has been vocal about building a Super Bowl-worthy roster, no matter the cost. However, neither of the past two summers has seen Jones truly back up his words with significant moves.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Davis is in “increasingly strong contention” to make his return from injury during the Mavericks' upcoming road stretch among Eastern Conference teams. Stein added that a particular game for Davis' return hasn’t been locked in.
