Oscar winning movie Coco has got a nod for the sequel with the original director returning for the second part, which will release in 2029.

Disney and Pixar are returning to Land of the Dead for “ Coco 2.” Disney’s CEO Bob Iger announced the follow-up film during the company’s annual shareholder meeting. The sequel, which is early in the development process, is slated for theatrical release in 2029. Plot details haven’t been revealed.

In case you don’t remember, the first film followed Miguel, a 12-year-old boy who accidentally entered the Land of the Dead and wound up discovering the truth about his great, great grandfather. By the end, Miguel manages to convince his living family that Hector isn’t the enemy of their family and helps Mama Coco peacefully cross over.
