Elon Musk’s social media platform X has agreed to pay US President Donald Trump $10 million to settle an old lawsuit against Twitter, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. The lawsuit was filed by Trump against then-Twitter and its co-founder Jack Dorsey for banning him from the platform –– after Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol –– in January 2021.

The platform becomes the second social-media company to settle with Trump after Jan. 6, 2021, riot triggered bans.
