The Trump administration's top diplomat Marco Rubio began his first foreign visit in Panama on Sunday, where he was set to meet Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino to discuss U.S. concerns about Chinese companies potentially affecting U.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is meeting Panama's president on his first stop on his trip foreign trip as President Donald Trump is upping pressure on America's neighbors including a demand for the Panama Canal to be returned to the United States.

On his first trip as secretary of state, Marco Rubio will also visit four other Latin American countries and press immigration issues.
