Sky has announced two new TVs today, including an overdue successor to the Sky Glass, which launched in 2021. The new model features a whole host of picture, feature and design enhancements, and owners of the original who are keen to upgrade won't have to wait long at all.

More brightness, color, contrast and backlight control all claimed for the second Sky Glass generation — at no extra cost.

Available from today (12 February), the second-generation Sky Glass TV comes in three different screen sizes (43in, 55in and 65in), and prices start at just £14 per month for the TV itself, with TV packages starting from £15. That means you’ll pay just £29 per month altogether.

At the launch event, Sky said that 90% of customers are now choosing Sky Stream or Sky Glass – products that both offer Sky’s expansive range of content over the internet –

The device is the only television which comes with Sky TV services built in, meaning users do not require a satellite dish or Sky box.
