Thurman was extradited to Baton Rouge and was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of felony criminal hazing in connection with the death of Southern University student Caleb Wilson, 20. Wilson was repeatedly punched during an off-campus hazing ritual.

A second suspect has been apprehended in the alleged hazing death of Southern University student Caleb Wilson, who collapsed during an off-campus fraternity ritual.

Wilson died on February 27 while reportedly pledging Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Louisiana police are now investigating the 20-year-old's death as a possible hazing incident.
