PHOENIX (AP) - The Phoenix Mercury were finalizing a deal to acquire Alyssa Thomas from the Connecticut Sun, a person familiar with the trade told The Associated Press on Tuesday night.

The addition of new players was part of a four-team trade with the Connecticut Sun, Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever. The Mercury will be losing some of its popular players.
