A Fairfax County police officer is recovering after he was stabbed by a 16-year-old boy while responding to a call on Monday afternoon, according to the Virginia county’s police chief.

And it looks like the week off did members on the roster some good, particularly David Montgomery. The team listed Montgomery as a full participant on its first practice report of the week Tuesday.
