The world was stunned when the two-time Oscar-winning star Gene Hackman, 95, was found dead last month along with his 65 year-old wife Betsy Arakawa. Sadly, one of their three dogs was found dead with them.

Santa Fe residents, whom ABC News identified as friends of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy, spoke about their experiences with the couple, who were found dead in their home on Feb. 26, in a new ABC News report.

Last month, actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. While the "suspicious" nature of their deaths sparked a full investigation, it sounds like the issue of his estate is not exactly going to be easy, either.
