Bringing back Hernandez is the latest intriguing move by the Dodgers during their big offseason, which includes the additions of international star Roki Saski, Blake Snell, Tanner Scott and Michael Conforto, plus the return of Teoscar Hernandez.

Hernández spent the last two seasons in LA — his second stint with the team — after the Red Sox traded him to the Dodgers in 2023. He helped Los Angeles win the World Series when he batted .278 with five hits (one triple) and three runs in the five-game series against the Yankees.

According to Tim Healey of Newsday, Los Angeles has signed former New York Yankees pitcher Stephen Ridings to a minor league deal. "Long Island’s Stephen Ridings — formerly of the Mets and Yankees — recently signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers," Healey wrote.
