Want to try the new Starlink satellite connection on your phone? Sign up to the T-Mobile beta and you can, for free, until July—even if you’re with another carrier.

During the Super Bowl on Sunday, T-Mobile announced the public beta launch of its direct-to-cell program with Starlink. Customers can sign up, free of charge, until it moves out of beta in July. And you don't have to be a T-Mobile subscriber to try it out.

Mobile said on Sunday it will launch its satellite-to-cell service, powered by SpaceX's Starlink, in July for $15 a month, as the U.S. wireless carrier aims to eliminate mobile dead zones and extend connectivity to remote areas.
