A vital footbridge outside Nottingham railway station is largely closing again despite East Midlands Railway (EMR) having been warned that it could face "reputational damage" if it did so.

Nottingham railway station has reopened following a huge fire that police say is being treated as arson. At its peak 10 fire crews were tackling the blaze, which began at about 06:30 GMT on Friday.
