Israel is letting thousands of Palestinians return to northern Gaza for the first time since the early weeks of the war with Hamas​, as a fragile ceasefire endures​.

No fewer than four Palestinians were wounded in an Israeli strike on Sunday, in a vehicle on the coastal road west of the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip. Medics first announced that a young boy had been killed in the strike but later said they had managed to resuscitate him.
