As the city of New Orleans awoke Wednesday to another day filled with snow, a few select restaurants and stores opened their doors to people looking for respite from the rare cold. In Uptown New Orleans, residents could be seen opening up the doors to restaurants and coffee shops, excitedly shouting back, "They're open!" to the rest of their party.

While Louisiana grocery stores and most restaurants are closed on Tuesday, January 21, a few dedicated spots are open for business.
