M4 and M48 reopens after body found on carriageway
The eastbound carriageway of the M4 and the M48 between the Severn Crossing and junction 21 of the M4 was closed, but reopened at approximately 01:30 GMT on Sunday, with the westbound closures removed at around 03:00.
'Human remains' discovered on M4 and M48
The discovery of human remains has closed the M4 in both directions from J20 M5 J15 (Almondsbury Interchange) to J22 M49, affecting traffic in Wales. Police were called at 6.40pm on Saturday 22 February and are currently investigating the discovery.
