It was a short stint for Daniel Jones in Minnesota. Jones, who was added to the Vikings' practice squad in November after his release from the Giants, is planning to sign with the Colts, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Beyond that, the Vikings are adding guard Will Fries and four-time Pro Bowler center Ryan Kelly to the offensive line, shoring up the interior of a group bookended by one of the NFL's better tackle pairings in Christian Darrisaw and Brian O'Neill.
