Texas Lt. Gov Dan Patrick said state agencies are taking too many liberties and need to communicate better with the Legislature on how laws are followed.

The Texas Senate passed the hemp ban backed by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. If passed by the House, SB 3 would ban nearly all forms of THC.

Patrick says the measure will shut down the dangerous THC products business. The House’s proposal would tighten oversight of the industry without a full ban.
