A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after two men were fatally shot at a 7-Eleven near Denver’s Park Hill and Clayton neighborhoods, police said Monday.

Police officers in Denver arrested two suspects linked to a deadly shooting early Monday morning. Officers said they heard the shooting near 35th and Colorado Boulevard in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven just after midnight.

That suspect, Fabian Vasquez, 19, is being held on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Police said their investigation found Vasquez shot the two victims. He was taken to a hospital due to a bite wound from a police dog during his arrest and for prolonged exposure to the cold.

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police arrested an 18-year-old in connection to a Jan. 12 homicide in southwest Denver. Officers responding to a call of a shooting in the area of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Wyoming Place found Aaron Roybal, 52, with a gunshot wound, according to a Monday afternoon press release.
