Apple sent me the 15-inch variant of the new MacBook Air in the new "sky blue" color, with an M4 chip, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of storage space. I haven't yet spent enough time with it to tell you whether it's a good purchase, but I can say one thing: The sky blue color will only shine in a certain light.

The entry-model M4 Airs will be $100 cheaper than their M3 equivalents. I got an early look at these stronger, cheaper MacBooks, plus a Mac Studio juiced with M4 Max and M3 Ultra.

MacBook Air has Apple's M4 processor, comes in a new "sky blue" color and starts at $999 for the 13-inch version and $1,199 for the 15-inch laptop.
