One person was hospitalized and about a dozen people were rescued after an abandoned gas station in Lakewood caught fire overnight.

At 11:15 p.m., West Metro Fire Rescue posted on X that crews were responding to a vacant gas station on West Alameda Avenue near South Harlan Street in Lakewood’s Martindale neighborhood.
