Meeting with the media on Monday, Michigan head coach Dusty May pushed back on criticism regarding the late game altercation with the Spartans on Sunday.

In 30 years as Michigan State’s head coach, Izzo owns a career 733-300 record, with his 360 Big Ten wins and counting the most by a coach in conference history. Izzo’s 11th conference title tied Indiana’s Bob Knight and Purdue’s Ward “Piggy” Lambert for the most in Big Ten history.

There was perhaps no one more proud of Michigan State's Big Ten title clinching win than Tom Izzo's mom, Dorothy Izzo. Michigan State defeated Michigan 79-62 on Sunday, earning Izzo's 11th Big Ten regular season title as the coach of the Spartans.
