A Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih killed a 47-year-old woman and wounded at least nine other people, Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak said on Wednesday.

Ukraine targeted Moscow in its biggest drone attack of the war on the Russian capital, killing at least one person and sparking several fires. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that at least 69 drones were destroyed that approached the city in several waves.

The resumption of U.S. military and intelligence aid for Ukraine follows a contentious White House meeting between the American and Ukrainain leaders, but Moscow is unlikely to agree to the proposed ceasefire.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that Ukraine had accepted a 30-day ceasefire proposed by the United States, following critical peace talks between US and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.
